About me

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed in everyday life, struggle with concentration or emotional regulation or find themselves repeating patterns that are hard to change. In our work together, we explore what lies beneath these experiences and how new ways of relating to yourself and others can emerge. My approach integrates psychodynamic understanding with a mindful, experience-based focus on the present moment. This means we work not only through reflection, but also through emotional and bodily awareness in the here and now. The goal is to help you understand and gradually change longstanding patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and develop greater emotional stability and flexibility in daily life. As a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in advanced psychodynamic training, I support people facing emotional distress, anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem and difficulties in relationships or life transitions. My professional background integrates clinical practice within psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine with research in clinical neuroscience. I currently work in psycho-oncology, supporting patients and their families coping with serious illness and existential challenges. Through my work with individuals from refugee and migrant backgrounds, I have developed a strong sensitivity to the impact of culture, language and life context on mental health.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
My work is grounded in a psychodynamic perspective, placing the whole person at the center — with their unique experiences, inner world and relationships. Inner and outer difficulties often develop as ways of coping with conflicts in how we relate to ourselves and to others. Lasting change becomes possible through new emotional and relational experiences. This involves developing a deeper understanding of yourself, recognizing the meaning of your struggles, and finding new ways of responding to them. Such a process requires a safe and supportive space, which gradually develops through a trusting and empathic therapeutic relationship. “What is allowed to be, can begin to change.” My counselling is guided by your individual concerns and needs. The approach serves your personal growth and the overcoming of difficulties — not the other way around.
