I’m originally from Bonn, Germany, and my journey into psychology began with a thoughtful decision; one I’ve never regretted. I chose to study psychology in the Netherlands, where I completed my degree in English. Living and learning in an international environment allowed me to meet people from many different backgrounds, each with their own unique perspectives. These experiences shaped not only my worldview but also my approach to therapy.
Over the years, I’ve lived in several different cities, including Utrecht, Berlin and Lisbon. Each move came with its own uncertainties and challenges: new languages, unfamiliar environments, and the discomfort of starting over. These experiences taught me that fear often accompanies meaningful change, and that with the right support, transitions can lead to personal growth. This belief now shapes how I work in therapy: with openness, curiosity, and a steady focus on your path forward.
Today, I bring this perspective into my work as a psychotherapist. I’m here to support you through your own transitions, challenges, and personal development, at your pace, in a safe and supportive space.
In my therapeutic work, the focus is always on you as a person, with your unique story and background. It’s important to me to understand your individual life circumstances in depth. Rather than quickly assigning diagnoses or fitting you into categories, I focus on the areas in your life that are causing distress and on working together to find paths that can lead to more well-being and quality of life.
