I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to reflect on your current or perpetual difficulties in life, explore your inner and outer conflicts and develop methods for you to work past them.
Growing up with two different cultures and religions, I quickly developed a deep interest in cultural diversity and human interactions. After school I spend one year in Indonesia to work in an organization defending the rights of women and children. This intense experience increased my urge to learn more about human behaviour and mental processes. I started my studies (B.Sc. Psychology) in Bremen and finished my studies (M.Sc. Psychology) in Düsseldorf. After my studies I worked as a counselor for criminal and traumatized adults. In 2020 I started my training in psychodynamic therapy in Bonn. Due to my strong interest in the psychosomatic and holistic approach, I started working as a therapist and group therapist in a psychosomatic clinic in Cologne.
Counselling sessions are available in German and English.
My therapy aims to help you identify important pieces of the puzzle that makes you who you are and rearrange them in ways that allow you to form a more functional and positive sense of self. My work rests on the psychodynamic approach which helps patients to look into their inner selves and to detect and understand emotional conflicts. My personal wish is for you to find your true potential and to shape your life based on your needs and values.
