About me

I am 30 years old and I live in Germany. I love making music, I believe in the healing powers of humor and relationships and I practice combat sports three times a week.

While working in various clinics and residential groups, I’ve witnessed deep despair – but above all, I’ve witnessed people rising from their pain with extraordinary resilience. I’ve seen profound and dignified transformations. I was taught how much power and competence humans possess, even in their darkest moments, even when they feel tired, small and helpless.

We are always capable of finding our way back to the light! I would love to show you how.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Ego-state therapyRecommended for those who want to explore and heal different parts of themselves, especially if they feel like different "states" or versions of themselves emerge in certain situations.
EMDRRecommended for those dealing with trauma who want to process painful memories in a structured way to reduce their emotional impact.
Throughout my academic and professional journey as a psychologist, I’ve repeatedly witnessed how much power our past experiences can exert over our present. Because their consequences are often either underestimated or not brought into connection with current challenges, they are silently inhibiting personal growth in various areas of life.

In my traumainformed online-practice, I support you in better understanding and addressing your difficulties through the lens of your personal history. I work with a scientifically sound, resource-oriented and body-centered approach - using EMDR, CBT as well as Parts Work and drawing on insights from Polyvagal Theory. This integrative framework allows for changes that are not only effective, but sustainable.

Experience

Before I started my counseling practice, I primarily worked with extremely unstable clients who posed a danger to themselves or others. Most of the time, they were placed in clinics or residential groups under a legal order. All of them had experienced severe trauma and but unfortunately did not receive appropriate care. Consequently, their problematic behavior patterns did not change. I realized that abuse and neglect lead to detrimental consequences that, due to a general ignorance, often remain unnoticed and therefore untreated. Which is why I specialized and still specialize in traumainformed care.

Education

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Neuroscience and a Master's degree in Neuropsychology, I am an accredited trauma counselor and I’ve completed a certified training in EMDR. At the moment, I am preparing for a license exam called "Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie" so that I can also offer therapy in the future.
