My psychological counseling combines experience from professional sports with scientific strategies from psychology. Solution- and goal-oriented, as well as empathetic, open, and appreciative.
My name is Felix Sproß, I am a psychologist and have been a professional handball player for ten years. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology, further training at FC Barcelona HUB, and a bachelor's degree in communication. In addition to my theoretical knowledge, I can offer you authentic help, as I have gained my own experience with mental challenges through my daily work in highly performance-oriented sports teams. These include pressure to perform in front of crowds, public criticism, dealing with defeat and success, dealing with difficult personalities, lack of trust from superiors, and constantly changing work environments as a professional athlete (including in Sweden and Switzerland).
In my work, I combine experience from elite sports with the latest findings in psychology. I take a solution- and goal-oriented approach and teach evidence-based strategies for dealing with performance pressure, stress, lack of trust from others, loneliness, and public criticism. My psychological strategies are inspired by cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy and have proven themselves in professional sports over many years. My strengths lie in authenticity, goal orientation, and appreciative communication. Important: This is psychological counseling for clinically healthy individuals. As a psychologist, I do not offer psychotherapy.
