I am a spiritual psychologist: in my understanding, a human being is more than what psychology can capture. At the same time, spirituality without being grounded in one’s lived reality is of little help.

About me
It feels as if it was in another lifetime that I worked as an interior decorator, shaping exterior spaces. Since I was always drawn to people’s inner spaces also, it eventually felt like the natural next step to become a qualified psychologist. (Along the way, I also completed a basic training in theatre education. We love theatre :)) As psychologist (M. Sc.), I then worked for many years as a school psychologist.
During that time, I completed my qualification as a systemic counsellor (SG) and began to train in the Human Design System and BG5 (the professional branch of Human Design). For those who take an interest: I am a generator with a 6/2 profile and emotional authority. Of course, the Human Design System encompasses much more, and learning these three basics about myself and experimenting with them was truly life-changing.
With the profound disruption that the year 2020 brought, it became clear that it was time for a change. I moved to Austria and spent the past few years living and working in Innsbruck. Recently, I have returned to my hometown. If you had asked me a few years ago whether I would ever move back there, I would certainly have said no. But that’s life… and I feel very much at home here.

Approach
I call my therapeutic style “Special Blend Counseling” since it combines three of my areas of expertise —perhaps in a somewhat unconventional way.
The first, of course, is psychology. In particular, a systemic approach (after the Institute for Family Therapy in Weinheim). For you that means I understand your issues within their (social) context. No one exists or behaves in a vacuum. Secondly, I have trauma-specific expertise, which I acquired in part through being a member of the crisis and emergency response team when I worked as a school psychologist. Recently, I further deepened my skills in this area in a seven-week "Trauma Clinic" (online, at the Santa Fe Institute for Shame-based Studies).
The second is the Human Design System, as it is a powerful tool for identifying a person’s strengths, potentials, and energetic structures. For this, all I need from you is your exact birth details.
The third area of expertise lies in my intuitive and healing abilities. I rediscovered these in 2021 through a three-month course with Nikki Novo and learned to apply them deliberately. For you, this means that I am able to perceive and work with aspects beyond the material world. This can be helpful, for example, when an issue has its roots in ancestral lineage or in a past life.
Last not least, in spite of the depth of my work, lightness and humor are an integral part of my sessions.
