I am a licensed psychological psychotherapist (approbierte Psychologische Psychotherapeutin) in Germany and an autoriseret psykolog in Denmark, officially authorized by the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice (Psykolognævnet). I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I studied psychology at the University of Marburg (Philipps-Universität Marburg) and completed my state-recognized postgraduate training in CBT at Hannover Medical School (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover). Afterwards, I worked at the trauma outpatient clinic in Lübeck, supporting individuals dealing with acute stress reactions and trauma-related disorders.
Today, I live and work in Copenhagen. I primarily support German- and English-speaking expats living in Denmark, as well as clients based in Germany through secure online therapy. Many of the people I work with find themselves in times of transition – between cultures, life stages, roles, or decisions – and are navigating emotional stress, uncertainty, or inner conflict.
My therapeutic style is clear, compassionate, and resource-oriented. While CBT forms the foundation of my work, I also integrate elements from schema therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness-based approaches, depending on individual needs.
For me, therapy is a space where ambiguity, complexity, and contradiction are not only welcome – they are often where real change begins. Even when things are hard to name at first.
