As a clinical psychologist I see trust and curiosity as key words. I work with adults, students and the transition to parenthood, and strive to give you a safe place to explore and challenge your own life.
I'm a Norwegian psychologist, educated from the University of Copenhagen. My additional courses and certifications somehow always focus on our relations, and how we can support them, including our relation to ourselves.
I have clinical experience working with the transition to parenthood, that covers the time from you or your partner tries to become pregnant, the pregnancy and the early years of parenthood. In addition, I have worked a lot with anxiety and stress, and with existential challenges, questions and insecurities arising in the early 20's and in the transition from "young" to "adult".
In addition to Denmark, I have for short periods lived in England, USA, Italy and France, and offer therapy in Norwegian, English and Danish.
Life can be painful and confusing, and among all the challenges we meet, there's many that we cannot control or escape from. I believe, however, that we can change our view on the challenges and on ourselves, and that we can strengthen our relations. That's why I often combine methods, and work with existential psychology, narrative therapy, compassion focused therapy and mentalization based therapy. The expert of your life is you, and I always listen to your needs and goals.
