>> Research has shown that a number of relationship factors between the client and the therapist "are at least as vital to a positive outcome as using the right treatment method." <<

I am focussing on a compassionate, holistic approach using methods of CBT, Systemic therapy, and relaxation/meditation techniques, if applicable. Most importantly, I care about a respectful, empathetic client-therapist relationship.
NOTE: Child sessions take place in person only. The first session will take place with one or both parents in order to learn more about your issue, without the child present. In the second session, which lasts ca. 80 minutes, I will mainly want to get to know your child. Since I am a stranger to your child, it is important that you are present in the room, so your child feels safe, wants to explore the setting and to interact with me. The interaction between your child and me will take place in a playful way. Age-depending I will have toys in the room. You, as a parent, will be more of an observer and the safe harbour for your child. At the end of that session, we will talk about the further proceeding. Further child sessions will last the usual 50 minutes or as agreed upon.
Every person has a unique personal story and background. In case, we are not the right match for each other, I can try to find someone in my network who might be able to support you in a better way.
If you have any questions or financial problems to afford child sessions, please contact me.
