I’m Michelle L. King, LCSW, a therapist specializing in Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and addiction. My passion is helping individuals process the impact of early childhood trauma while building a fulfilling and meaningful life. I take a Positive Psychotherapy, Solutions-Focused, and Strength-Based approach, ensuring that my clients feel supported, empowered, and capable of growth. I believe in bringing warmth, humor, and deep clinical expertise into therapy, creating a space where healing happens through self-awareness, resilience, and connection.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Georgia and have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, individuals struggling with self-worth, and those navigating complex relationship dynamics. My work is deeply person-centered, focusing on self-compassion, boundary-setting, and breaking free from destructive patterns. Whether I’m helping clients process past pain, develop coping skills, or strengthen their sense of self, my goal is to guide them toward living more authentically. I believe therapy should be a place where people feel truly seen and understood, and I’m committed to making the world a kinder place—one conversation at a time.
