Psychologist | PhD in Philosophy
I am a licensed Psychologist originally from Brazil, with a dual focus on psychoanalytic practice and academic research. Alongside my private clinic, I worked for over two years as assistant professor of Psychology at Universidade Positivo (Brazil). My academic journey is marked by the study of autobiography and self narrative, holding both a Master’s and a PhD in Philosophy. This dual path allows me to bridge the art of listening to people with philosophical understanding of the human condition.
My doctoral research focused on Friedrich Nietzsche’s concept of autobiography, exploring how we construct our identity and can change our lives through self-narrative. In the clinical setting, I translate this expertise into helping patients reconstruct their own life stories, especially when facing the challenges of todays social relations — such as the impact of digital life, social isolation, living abroad, also in regard to relationships and sexuality.
I work from a psychoanalytic perspective, focusing on the unique history and environment of each individual. Our process begins with preliminary interview sessions, which allow us to map out your current situation and determine the best way to move forward together.
What follows is a process of deep listening, where we take the time to explore your concerns thoroughly. My goal is to foster long-term, sustainable well-being rather than simply focusing on superficial or temporary behavioral changes.
My practice is strictly guided by clinical ethics, ensuring a safe and confidential space where you can discuss any topic. You will find a welcoming environment, absolutely free from moral judgment. If you have any questions about the treatment or how I work, please feel free to message me — I would gladly provide further clarification.
Psychoanalyst in Private Practice 2014 – Present
Dedicated to clinical practice as a psychoanalyst since 2014. My work focuses on individual analysis, having worked with children, adolescents and adults. In recent years, my practice has transitioned to focus predominantly on online sessions. This shift allows me to provide psychoanalytic care to clients across different geographical locations, maintaining the same clinical rigor as in-person settings. I also offer clinical supervision for psychologists and psychoanalysts. This role involves guiding other practitioners in their clinical cases, focusing on technique, ethics, and the application of psychoanalytic theory.
Assistant Professor of Psychology Universidade Positivo (Brazil) | 2022 – 2025
Taught undergraduate courses in Psychology, focusing on work ethics and the transmission of psychoanalytic theory and clinical technique.
Research Assistant University of Stuttgart, Germany | 2019 – 2020
During a research stay in Germany, I served as a Research Assistant at the University of Stuttgart. My responsibilities included assisting in the editing and organization of academic publications within the field of Literary Studies.
PhD in Philosophy Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil) | Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Stuttgart (Germany)
My doctoral research investigated the concept of autobiography in Friedrich Nietzsche’s work, focusing on the preparatory manuscripts of his final book, Ecce Homo. The study explored how the process of writing about oneself serves as a fundamental mechanism for self-construction. By examining the transformative power of self-narrative, I establish a bridge to psychoanalytic practice: the understanding that as people tell their life stories, they are actively becoming who they are.
Master's in Philosophy Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil)
My Master’s research focused on Nietzsche’s method of critical genealogy. I investigated how history and narratives about the past can be critically reformulated to produce transformative effects in the present.
Bachelor in Psychology Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR), Brazil | 2009 – 2013
A five-year integrated program including intensive clinical training and supervised practice (equivalent to B.Sc. + clinical specialization)..
Psychoanalytic Training Ongoing
My development as a psychoanalyst is a continuous and lifelong process, grounded in the traditional 'tripod' of analytic formation: personal analysis, clinical supervision, and theoretical study. Lately, I have focused on the relation between narrative theory and psychoanalysis.
