In addition to my masters degree in social work, I earned a masters degree in public health (specifically mental health) so I have been involved in a variety of projects related to mental health research, education and training, program development, and evaluation for the better part of 30 years.
In 2024, I moved to Europe and am authentically embracing my counseling and coaching skills. My mission is to walk alongside internationals as they navigate the emotional weight of building a life in a new place. I offer a warm, grounded space to grieve what you’ve left behind, stay true to yourself while adapting to new cultures, and tend to the uncertainty that can come with your future, your role, and your relationships. I do this both in direct work with individuals and by partnering with the companies that welcome them, so together we can support a sense of wellbeing, comfort, and possibility.
I am serious about offering an affirming practice. That means I work to empower a client with respect to their gender identity, sexuality, relationship orientation, neurodiversity, body size / shape / ability, cultural, and any other differences, rather than trying to “repair” or minimize such differences. Clients describe me as insightful, empathetic, compassionate, genuine, funny, easy-going, and nonjudgmental.
