I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark, an AAMFT approved and COMAFTE accredited program. I have completed coursework in systems theory, models of systemic therapy, psychopathology, addictions, human development, ethics, group therapy, diversity training, intimate partner violence, medical family therapy, child diagnosis and assessment, and other related subjects. I continue my education through workshops and seminars, as well as personal and professional reading and research.
After completing my masters, I started my work as an individual and family therapist at Morrison and Child Family Services in Portland Oregon. In 2016, I moved to Germany where I began my work as a school counselor, supporting families and children, an experience that deepened my understanding of transition, identity, and cross-cultural mental health care.
Outside of my educational and professional background, I’m passionate about nature and the healing power it offers. Activities like hiking and running are not only part of my self-care but also inspire my belief that connection to the natural world can be a powerful part of the healing process.
