Psychologist (M.Sc.) & systemic counselor. Functioning well on the outside, struggling on the inside with pressure, self-criticism, or a difficult relationship with yourself. That's exactly where I come in.
I am a psychologist (M.Sc.) with clinical experience across a range of settings, including the Depression and Crisis Intervention Center at Charité Berlin, the Institute for Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Goethe University Frankfurt, a child and adolescent psychiatry unit, and abroad. Alongside this, I spent several years working in management consulting and in the field of Talent & Leadership Development. This combination has greatly broadened my perspective.
In both worlds, I observed the same thing: a society increasingly focused on self-optimization and perfection, whether at work, with one's own body, in relationships, or even in personal style. The feeling of never being quite good enough runs through so many areas of life. It shows up as inner pressure and self-criticism, as constant overthinking, as a strained relationship with performance, or very often with one's own body and eating.
These things often go unnoticed, even by ourselves. But they take up space, and they get ignored for too long, because we tell ourselves: "It's not that bad." And so we keep functioning. This is exactly where I want to step in: early, before stress turns into true exhaustion, burnout, or something worse. That's why I offer my support here with real passion, to help turn that inner pressure back into breathing room and a sense of ease.
My approach is primarily systemic, meaning I look beyond individual symptoms to understand how your life situation, relationships, roles, and recurring patterns connect and influence each other. Depending on your needs, I also draw on cognitive behavioral approaches or elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Mindfulness and meditation are more than just tools for me. I have personal experience with both and conducted research on loving-kindness meditation at Goethe University Frankfurt. What the research shows and what I live myself both shape how I work.
My work is professional and evidence-based, while remaining grounded in trust, warmth, and a non-judgmental space. I don't apply diagnostic labels where they aren't needed, and I won't turn things into problems where there aren't any. Together, we focus on what actually helps in your specific situation.
If we find that you need more than counseling, I'm happy to help you find the right therapist or clinic.
