Dr. Bryon is a Diplomate Jungian psychoanalyst and a licensed psychologist. For the last three decades she has worked with the Andean medicine people in Peru, bringing groups to Peru, and has written several articles and books on integrating indigenous shamanism and the practice of psychotherapy.
Deborah's therapeutic vision is to bridge her backgound as a psychologist and Jungian analyst with the Andean (shamanic) medicine training she has received to facilitate deep psychological and spiritual healing. Deborah views trauma not only as a psychological wound but as a fragmentation of the soul. Her goal is to help clients to discover deeper parts of themselves and reconnect dissociated parts of by working within a sacred, relational space.

In conjunction with her private practice, Deborah is an artist and frequent lecturer in the international Jungian and psychoanalytic communities.
Decades ago, before entering the field of psychology, she was a stockbroker on Wall Street, and founded a business designing and manufacturing ladies and children’s resort wear.
