I am a dedicated Psycologist (MA) and certified Art Psychotherapist with specialist training in EMDR, Schema Therapy and trauma-informed approaches. Currently practicing as a NIP Psycholoog in the Netherlands, I work with individuals from diverse cultural and life backgrounds to support their mental well-being, emotional regulation, and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, creativity, and evidence-based practice, enabling clients to explore their challenges in a safe, collaborative, and empowering environment.
With a deep passion for mental health and human behavior, I integrate a variety of modalities including art-based therapies and trauma-focused techniques to tailor each intervention to the unique needs of clients. My work embraces vulnerability and resilience, fostering opportunities for insight, healing, and meaningful change. Over the years, I have also facilitated workshops that center on expressive and reflective practices, especially in contexts of migration and personal transformation.
I am committed to lifelong learning and cross-cultural understanding, drawing on both clinical expertise and creative methods to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Outside of my professional practice, I enjoy exploring the intersections between psychology, art, and community connection and believing that holistic well-being emerges from both inner growth and meaningful relationships.
My therapeutic style is integrative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and respected, and I work collaboratively to explore their experiences at a pace that feels right for them. Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, art psychotherapy, and talk therapy, I adapt my work to each individual’s needs.
I value both verbal and non-verbal expression and support clients in developing insight, emotional regulation, and resilience. My approach is empathetic, culturally sensitive, and focused on meaningful, sustainable change.
