About me
I am a German speaking counsellor trained in Amsterdam (BSc) and Vienna (MSc). Currently, I am developing my expertise through Psychodynamic therapy training in my hometown, Hamburg.
In the last years, I have worked with individuals struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia and addictions. Furthermore, I co-founded a support group for international students in Amsterdam and understand the difficulties of expatriates through personal experience.
Finally, I have worked in a psychosomatic clinic focused on treating individuals with eating disorders and am supporting individuals in the transition from a clinic into their prior surrounding, which can be very challenging.

Approach
Coming from a psychodynamic perspective, I believe that while many human wishes, motives and positionalities are unconscious, they still direct and influence our lifes. Thus we often seem to be divided against ourselves leaving us feeling powerless and emotionally overwhelmed.
Borrowing from C. G. Jung: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate”.
In my counselling, I seek to create a warm and introspective space and to guide you through this exciting process of self-discovery to the best of my ability. I hope that with compassion and humour many difficult experiences can be transformed into self-learning and growth.
