At the beginning of every therapy, the focus is mutual trust and respect. This foundation allows for a trusting and sustainable relationship crucial for the success of the treatment. When the unspoken can be uttered, the forgotten remembered, and new insights gained, this self-knowledge (i.e., a better understanding of one's intentions, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours) allows for cognitive and behavioural change and, as a result, recovery.
As this is an arduous path, my role is to encourage and support you on this journey. For this purpose, I use different interventional approaches, from psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and hypnotherapy.
