My website:
https://theresiliencetraining.com/en/Hello and welcome! My name is Katharina Eggers, I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and further training as a Psychotherapist for Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I have extensive experience in the treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders as well as depressive and stress-related illnesses.
I think it is a pity that treatment usually only takes place once symptoms have already developed. I would like to counteract this with my offer "The Resilience Training" and support you with skilltraining and counseling for stress, overwhelming thoughts or emotions, in or after challenging life situations.
You have come to the right place for support with:
- High work-related or personal stress
- Anxiety with or without specific triggers
- Rumination or intrusive thoughts
- Difficulties in relationships
- Overwhelming emotions
- Difficulty sleeping or relaxing
- Crises or changes in your life
Resilience is the psychological resistance that can help us better deal with challenges in life. I would like to help you strengthen your mental resilience through my individualized resilience training.
Counseling Process:
After a free initial consultation, we typically schedule a longer first session to gain a deeper understanding of your background (e.g. biography) and your specific concerns. Following this, we usually have 50-minute sessions every 1-2 weeks, during which we work on your concerns in a goal-oriented and often practical way. Initially, I recommend more frequent sessions, which can later shift to 1-2 times a month, depending on your wishes or needs.
My clients typically spend between 7 and 20 sessions with me. During this time, we work intensively on their concerns and improvements in symptoms begin to develop. After this period, we'll evaluate your progress and any remaining needs. Mostly my clients reduce their sessions from there for open questions or relapse prevention.
Reviews - Read some feedback my clients gave me:
International Student living in Germany
„It was my first counseling experience and didn’t know what to expect, but Katharina made it very comfortable and made me feel understood. I liked her patience, flexibility and non-judgmental approach, where we did not focus only on the past but on the present and future as well, which helped me with starting to do the things. We worked with structured models and I understood that my anxiety symptoms have functionality that I can work on.
I started taking steps in regards with my life and future that I was avoiding before.
Many of the things we discussed during our sessions gave me insight about myself and life in general as well as more confidence in myself to be a more active participant in my own life."

„I started with Katharina a few months ago after trying several different counselors. We're speaking in English, which is important for me because I can’t express myself well enough in German. After working on some of the issues, I'm feeling better. There is definitely progress in my ability to be resilient to external factors as well as in my self-awareness. I am grateful to Katharina and definitely recommend her counseling to anyone, and I will continue myself.“
