My name is Laura Moosmüller. I am a psychologist (M.Sc.) and psychotherapist, working as a psychological counselor specialized in performance pressure, self-leadership, emotional balance, and ADHD. During my studies, I focused on neuropsychology—an emphasis that continues to shape my work today and flows into every counseling session. Even as a psychology student, it was clear to me: I want to work with people. My wish to engage in therapeutic work did not only arise from the impulse to help but also from a deep curiosity: Who is sitting across from me? What drives this person—and what holds them back? How do growth, change, and inner clarity emerge? These questions continue to guide me to this day—and they resonate with my own story. I am someone who strives for a lot: I have many ideas, take initiative, and work with joy and energy. I am ambitious, creative, and often on the move. And I know from personal experience how easy it is to lose yourself in all of it—in perfectionism, in over-responsibility, in constant inner tension. I know the feeling of being proud and exhausted at the same time. And I know how powerful it can be to create space: for reflection, for clarity, for yourself. I accompany people who experience something similar—those who are dedicated, driven, and full of ideas, yet challenged to stay connected with themselves. People who want to move forward but also sense that their inner balance is just as important as their next career step. What inspires me most is the moment when someone begins to truly listen inward. When the courage grows to question old patterns. When change becomes tangible—not as a radical turning point, but as a meaningful next step. My work is not about observing from the outside—it is about accompanying. With competence, clarity, appreciation—and always with genuine curiosity for the person sitting across from me.
My Approach I combine psychological expertise with a solution-focused and practical mindset. My work is not about searching for deficits, but about making strengths visible, fostering self-efficacy, and developing new options for action. I always start from the individual strengths, circumstances, and goals of the person I work with. Collaboration on equal footing is central to me: clients are the experts of their own lives, while I provide impulses, highlight patterns, and create space for change. What matters most is that our work proves effective in everyday life. For this reason, I use concrete tools, exercises, and reflection questions. At the same time, I explain the neuropsychological foundations behind methods so that they are not only applicable but also understandable and sustainable. Methods I draw on approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic counseling, mindfulness, positive psychology, and stress management. Framework I offer psychological counseling for people who want to grow personally, explore new perspectives, or seek support in challenging situations. I do not conduct psychotherapy within this setting. If psychological symptoms significantly affect your quality of life, psychotherapy is the right path. Counseling and coaching are not psychotherapy and do not constitute medical treatment. If you are unsure what suits your needs, feel free to contact me—we can clarify this together in a non-binding conversation.
