I am a PhD candidate specializing in the intersection of emotions and well-being(Psychology), with hands-on experience in counseling individuals facing depression, anxiety, cognitive distortions, stress, and mood disorders. I am passionate about supporting clients in developing self-awareness and emotional regulation, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to foster well-being and resilience.
As a certified art therapist and practitioner of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Positive Psychotherapy, I bring a diverse set of skills to my work with clients. I am also a certified primary practitioner of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), which further strengthens my ability to help individuals challenge and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
In addition to my clinical work, I have designed and implemented Social Emotional Learning (SEL) models, focusing on inclusivity by involving parents and mentors to provide holistic support for young learners. My goal is to contribute to creating emotionally intelligent environments that empower individuals of all ages to thrive. Bearing this background, I currently work extensively in bringing unconventional approaches and techniques targetted for individuals with Alexithymia.
