I am Isobel, a white woman aged 71. I trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with the Cambridge Society for Psychotherapy and graduated in 2004. Since then I have worked with children and young people in school and university settings in Harlow and Cambridge, and with adult refugees for a time in London. I now work in private practice and supervise volunteer art therapy trainees on placement with a bereavement service for children and young people, and with trainee counsellors retained by a different service. I am a member of the UKCP and the Free Psychotherapy Network. I am married, with a grown up daughter and a grandson aged 6.
I am committed to making psychotherapy as accessible as possible to anyone who needs it.
