🤝 My Counseling Style:
As an ACT-based counselor, I help you build psychological flexibility by guiding you to accept difficult thoughts and emotions without letting them control your life. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on helping you connect with your values and take meaningful action toward the life you want to lead, even when faced with challenges. We’ll work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with an emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion. Through this process, you’ll develop healthier ways of responding to stress, anxiety, or self-doubt, and start moving forward in a way that aligns with your true self.
📆 Recommended Session Frequency:
I suggest starting with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, with flexibility to adjust based on your progress. As you begin to feel more confident in your ability to manage challenges, we can transition to monthly or as-needed sessions. When you're ready, we'll wrap up with a closing session to reflect on your journey and empower you to continue independently.
📃 Important Information - Payment & Cancellation:
Sessions are privately paid and not covered by national health insurance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. In case of emergencies, rescheduling may be offered at my discretion.
