As a Gestalt psychotherapist living abroad, I have developed a profound sensitivity to the nuances of intercultural living and the stereotypes that often accompany it. My own experiences navigating diverse cultural landscapes have enriched my understanding and empathy, enabling me to connect deeply with clients from various backgrounds.
From a young age, I have been drawn to helping others. My curiosity about human suffering and the complexities of the human experience has guided my journey into psychotherapy. I believe in the transformative power of the "Now, Thyself" philosophy, a cornerstone of Gestalt therapy, which emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and personal responsibility in the present moment.
Inspired by the teachings of Fritz Perls, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their own experiences and emotions. As Perls said, "I do my thing and you do your thing. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you, and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful. If not, it can't be helped."
Through this approach, I aim to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, fostering personal growth and healing. My practice is dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards self-discovery and emotional well-being.
