I am Eman Awad, from Islamabad, Pakistan. I have done MS Clinical Psychology from Bahria University, Islamabad. I have worked in different settings, in a clinic, at a hospital and at a university as a visiting faculty. I took a gap for one year because of my child but recently I have started my own private practice. I currently have clients who are dealing with issues like health anxiety, fear of death and uncertainty, strained relationship with spouse, grief, time management, self esteem and confidence. I am also working with a client who have symptoms of borderline personality disorder.
I apply the techniques of Cognitive Behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. Where needed, I simply incorporate talk therapy/psychotherapy.
I have also worked with children but I am more comfortable working with adults and adolescents.
