About me

Over the past several years, my professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to understanding human relationships, emotional resilience, and personal growth. My work is grounded in Systemic Couple and Family Therapy, with a particular influence from the transformative approach of Virginia Satir. Through an intensive three year clinical training accredited by the European Family Therapy Association Training Institutes Chamber, I developed a relational and systemic perspective that focuses not only on individuals, but also on the wider emotional, familial, and social systems they are part of. My goal is to create a collaborative therapeutic space where people can better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and navigate life with greater clarity and self awareness.

I currently work primarily with individuals between the ages of 18 and 35, supporting clients through challenges related to anxiety, relational difficulties, identity development, emotional regulation, and major life transitions such as university, career shifts, and changing family dynamics. Alongside systemic therapy, I integrate mindfulness based approaches into my practice, helping individuals develop a more compassionate and grounded relationship with themselves and their experiences. My therapeutic style is warm, reflective, and adaptable to the unique needs and backgrounds of each person I work with.

Before fully transitioning into clinical practice, I spent several years volunteering in mental health and humanitarian settings across different parts of the world. Between 2018 and 2020, I volunteered at the Toronto Distress Centre, supporting individuals experiencing crises related to suicide, depression, abuse, and severe emotional distress. During this time, I also completed the Mindfulness Without Borders trainer training at the University of Toronto, which allowed me to facilitate mindfulness based group sessions focused on emotional well being and resilience. In addition, I volunteered teaching English to Buddhist monks in Kathmandu and participated in first hand support efforts during earthquakes and wildfires in Türkiye. These experiences continue to shape both my clinical perspective and my belief in the importance of empathy, human connection, and community support.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Couples therapySupport for couples working through problems and who want to gain insight into the relational dynamics that contribute to the problem.
Family therapyRecommended for families who want to resolve conflicts, improve communication, and understand each other better within the family dynamic.
Narrative therapyRecommended for those who want to rewrite the way they view their life story and feel more empowered in their personal journey.
Systemic therapyRecommended for those who want to understand how their relationships and environments influence their behavior and emotions, particularly within family or organizational systems.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Systemic Therapy, where I focus on understanding individuals within the context of their relationships, life experiences, and environments. Influenced by the work of Virginia Satir, I believe that trust and the therapeutic relationship are at the core of meaningful change. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and non judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.

I primarily work with young adults navigating anxiety, relational difficulties, identity, and life transitions. Alongside systemic perspectives, I integrate mindfulness-based approaches to help clients develop emotional awareness, strengthen self-understanding, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
