When things get hard, having someone who truly listens and understands can make a real difference. I offer a nonjudgmental space where we can work through what matters most to you.
Understanding the mind has always felt like the first step toward genuine growth and healing. After studying psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University and in Canada, I interned at Columbia University’s Social Cognition Lab in New York, where my curiosity about the brain and emotions deepened. I later completed my master’s degree in neuroscience and continued with doctoral research in Berlin, exploring how mind, body, and emotion interconnect across the lifespan.
Over time, this scientific curiosity evolved into a deeper commitment to working with people in a more personal way. I later completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, which allowed me to bring my academic background into clinical practice.
In my clinical work, I combine insights from research with a warm, relational approach, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions openly. Together, we try to make sense of what’s going on and what might help.

I’ve always been drawn to critical perspectives. Early in my career, I realized that understanding the human mind also means looking at the wider social context and how it shapes each person’s experience. In my work, I take a client-centered, integrative way of working—using evidence-based methods while keeping the focus on each person and their unique story.
Early in my career, I volunteered at a women’s shelter as a counselor, an experience that deepened my commitment to supporting others through difficult times. After years in research, I now work as a psychologist in private practice.
