About me

My journey in Systemic Couple and Family Therapy, inspired by Virginia Satir, has been profoundly transformative. Over three years, I immersed myself in understanding the intricate dynamics of relationships, focusing on the unique systems each individual is part of. My approach aims to help you navigate and enhance these relationships, offering support that resonates deeply with your personal experiences. I believe in seeing the whole picture of your life. By recognizing how everyday emotions like anger and disconnection connect to your core beliefs and family dynamics, we can uncover the underlying reasons behind your stress. Whether it’s about your relationships or how you interact with the world, I’m here to help you find clarity and balance. Between 2018 and 2020, I dedicated my time to volunteering at the Toronto Distress Centre. During this period, I supported individuals facing profound challenges such as suicide, abuse, depression, and anxiety. This experience, combined with completing the Mindfulness Without Borders trainer training at the University of Toronto, enabled me to lead mindfulness-based group sessions, promoting mental well-being. As a full member of the European Family Therapy Association Training Institutes Unit (EFTA-TIC), I completed an intensive three-year training in Couple and Family Therapy, focusing on the Satir Transformative Systemic Therapy Model. This training, conducted in partnership with esteemed institutes in Canada, included modules like "Working with Couples" and "Domestic Violence," providing me with a diverse skill set to address your unique needs. Volunteering has always been close to my heart. I had the privilege of teaching English to Buddhist monks in Kathmandu, Nepal. Later, I spent two years volunteering at the Suicide Intervention Line, providing vital support to individuals in crisis. Along with first hand support in earthquakes and wildfires in Turkey.
