Everything looks fine, yet something still feels deeply off. You've stopped enjoying things, feel disconnected from yourself, or tired of pretending you're okay. You don't have to figure it out alone.
I enjoy thinking. I prefer listening before speaking. I try to understand. Yet I don't always have answers. Also I cannot understand those who claim to know. I have often been told that I am emotional. I am not really sure if that's true. I am curious. Curious about people, curious about the person in front of me, and their story. I value the process of exploring meaning together- feeling it, thinking about it, staying with it. I may offer reflections, but I believe the truth of a story belongs to the person who has lived it. Because a story takes shape in the one who experiences it. As Pessoa said, what is felt is, what is lived. I believe that greatest battle takes place within the human psyche. And I believe the most courageous people are those who are able to face their own inner darkness. I do not approach people through labels. What matters to me is understanding, rather than defining. Let me hear your story...
My approach is grounded in supporting people to develop insight, emotional awareness, and an increasing sense of inner capacity.
The aim is not dependence, but growth — helping you become more able to understand yourself, relate to your emotions without avoidance, and take responsibility for your inner world with honesty and courage.
I believe meaningful change begins when a person can stay present with what is difficult, rather than trying to escape or silence it.
I work collaboratively and with respect for your pace and boundaries. Some challenges can be understood, worked through, and transformed over time; others may involve pain that cannot simply be “fixed.”
In moments of loss, grief, or deep existential distress, my role is not to offer quick solutions, but to remain present — to acknowledge the reality of the experience and share the weight of it without judgment or pressure. You are not expected to be strong, clear, or composed in order to be here.
This work relies on honesty, safety, and mutual commitment. I value openness and sincerity, especially toward oneself, and I strive to create an environment where you can speak freely without fear of being judged, corrected, or rushed.
Within clear professional boundaries, I offer steady support, reflection, and guidance — with the intention of helping you reconnect with your vitality, inner resources, and capacity to move forward in a way that feels genuine and sustainable.
I work in private practice with individuals and couples, supporting a wide range of emotional, relational, and life-transition-related concerns.
My work often involves accompanying people who appear functional on the outside yet feel internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain. I value depth, continuity, and a thoughtful pace, allowing space for insight, emotional awareness, and personal responsibility to develop over time.
In addition to private practice, I have experience working within institutional settings, including my involvement with ISEP, where I contributed to structured support processes and interdisciplinary collaboration. This experience strengthened my ability to work within clear professional frameworks while remaining attentive to individual experiences and boundaries.
I engage in regular weekly supervision, which is an integral part of my professional practice. Across my work, I prioritize ethical responsibility, confidentiality, and reflective practice, approaching each professional relationship with consistency, care, and respect for personal boundaries.
I hold advanced academic credentials in psychology and philosophy, grounded in reflective, humanistic, and existential traditions. MSc in Clinical Psychology - Instituto Superior de Estudios Psicológicos de Barcelona
My graduate work included research on emotional experience, relational patterns, and existential themes.
BA in Psychology - İstanbul Bilgi University
MA in Philosophy - Boğaziçi University BA in Philosophy - Boğaziçi University
My thesis explored philosophical aspects of meaning, selfhood, and human experience, providing a deep conceptual foundation for my clinical interests.
In addition to formal degrees, I have completed postgraduate training in expressive and art-based approaches, which inform my sensitivity to non-verbal processes, emotional expression, and symbolic meaning. I have also engaged in focused work on complex trauma and the application of Acceptance and Commitment approaches ( ACT) to support emotional flexibility and resilience.
Throughout my academic journey, I have prioritized ethical practice, continuous learning, and integration of theory with lived human experience, which inform and strengthen my professional approach.
