About me
Hello,
I've studied philosophy during my bachelor. Though, it was a psychology-rich philosophy education where I followed a lot of psychology courses as well as philosophy courses related to psychology such as 'Freud, Jung, and Philosophy of Unconscious', 'Philosophy of Mind' and 'Philosophies of the Self'.
Thereafter, I completed a pre-master year in psychology and completed psychology undergraduate courses at the University of Groningen, one of the top 100 universities in the world. Afterwards, I have earned an MSc degree in Clinical Psychology from the same university. My master thesis topic was 'Effect of social interactions on self-esteem and negative affect in psychopathy and narcissism groups'. I worked in a clinic in the Netherlands after my graduation and then turned back to Turkey.
I am very passionate as well as compassionate about my therapies. It is sincerely my way of self-actualization after I have myself constantly dealed with problems in my life.

I work in accordance with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I value evidence-based interventions as well as genuine human connection. I'm a fan of authenticity, creativity, neurodiversity, cultural diversity and genuineness.
I generally do the intake sessions several and focus a lot on the correct claasification and diagnosis. Therefore you might expect a lot of screening and diagnostic measurements as well as structured interviews during the starting phase.
My path to being therapist was more than a career pursuit, education and training. I relate to the Chironic archetype on a self-actualization level. I have a lot of compassion and empathy in me doing half the work for me as well as curiosity.
