My name is Itzhak. I am a licensed therapist with an established private practice and a professional background in music. I graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and my musical foundation deeply informs my therapeutic work. As a religious Jew, I bring a profound respect for spirituality and tradition into every session. I believe that where logic and words reach a dead end, the body and the subconscious begin to speak. My practice is built on the belief that integrating movement, music, expressive writing, visual arts, and nature allows us to better understand ourselves and manage life’s complexities with greater resilience. I am an active member of FEPTO (Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organisations). I regularly facilitate workshops at international conferences, sharing my expertise in integrating art therapy and psychodrama into the treatment of profound crisis and trauma.
From Word to Action I believe that where logic and words reach a dead end, the body and the subconscious begin to speak. My sessions are guided by three interconnected tools that form a bridge to healing: The Word: Exploring your narrative and thoughts. The Body Response: I always invite clients to pay close attention to how their narrative echoes within the body. What does the physical sensation say? Body Expression & Action: We move from the felt sense to expressing that emotion through creative action—whether through movement, sound, or image. Music remains one of my most powerful expressive tools. I incorporate the sounds of the piano, Tibetan chimes, and singing bowls to create a resonant space. This process allows us to safely process difficult emotions, transforming "frozen" trauma into fluid movement and the chaos of crisis into a clear, creative image.
