After completing my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Human Relations and Spirituality, at the University of Ottawa (Canada), I was intent on continuing my exploration of human nature and connection to self and others.
I had the opportunity to move abroad to Germany, and what I thought was only going to be 1-2 years, has now turned in to 10+ years. I continued my education, attaining a Professional Addiction Studies Certificate, Psychodynamic Couples Counselling Certificate, and eventually my Master's in Counselling Psychology. I am continuing to pursue qualifications as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider, and EFT provider.
On the personal side, I have navigating the unique challenges of moving abroad, including integrating to a new culture, learning a new language, and rediscovering who I am in this new landscape. The last 10 years have been busy, I've had 3 daughters, travelled extensively, and completed my post-graduate education during this time.
Coming from Canada to Germany, I have learned to love and appreciate the walking/biking lifestyle, a good espresso, sparkling water, European wine, and the art of slowing down on Sundays.
Although, with my combination of North American conditioning and ADHD, I find it difficult to truly slow down during the other weekdays, (it's a work in progress).
