About me

I am Lena Christina Fütterer, a Non-Medical Practitioner for Psychotherapy based in Ketsch, Germany. In my private practice, Feel Good Werkstatt, I support adults who want to regain clarity, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of direction — whether they are facing anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or difficult life transitions. My work is especially suited to people who function well on the outside, yet feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected on the inside. What clients often appreciate about working with me is the combination of empathy and structure. I offer a safe and respectful space where you do not have to keep functioning or holding everything together. At the same time, I work in a clear, practical, and goal-oriented way. I believe meaningful change becomes possible when emotional safety, honest reflection, and concrete next steps come together.

Before opening my practice, I worked in demanding professional environments myself. This allows me to understand the pressure, responsibility, and inner tension that often come with ambitious careers, leadership roles, and complex relationships. My aim is to help clients feel calmer, more self-connected, and more capable of making meaningful changes — with support that is compassionate, discreet, and tailored to their individual situation.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
CoachingRecommended for those who want support and motivation to achieve personal or professional goals, often with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
Systemic approachRecommended for those who want to look at how different systems—like family, work, or society—affect their behavior and relationships.

My approach is structured, practical, and tailored to the individual person sitting in front of me. I work primarily with CBT-informed methods, complemented by systemic coaching, mindfulness-based elements, and couples work where appropriate. This means we look not only at what is currently causing distress, but also at the underlying thought patterns, emotional reactions, behaviours, and relationship dynamics that may be maintaining it.

In our work together, I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and productive. Some clients come to therapy or coaching because they feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Others seek support because they are functioning highly in everyday life, but internally feel exhausted, pressured, or lost. In both cases, I believe it is important to combine emotional depth with real-life applicability.

Depending on your situation, we may work on identifying stressors and triggers, understanding recurring patterns, strengthening emotional awareness, challenging unhelpful beliefs, improving boundaries, or developing healthier ways of coping and communicating. In couples work, I also support partners in gaining a better understanding of recurring conflicts, unmet needs, and communication patterns.

My way of working is warm, respectful, and collaborative. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I want to understand your personal story, your resources, and your goals, so that our work together feels meaningful, manageable, and relevant to your everyday life. My aim is not only to help you cope in the short term, but to support lasting clarity, resilience, and change.

Experience

Before opening my private practice, I worked at EY, Accenture, and in a leadership role at an MDAX-listed company, with a focus on change management. At Accenture, I also served as a Mental Health Ally. In addition, I completed training in crisis communication and leadership coaching.

Education

I am a Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie with training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), systemic coaching, and couples therapy. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree and a bilingual Master’s degree (German/English) in Business Administration.
