My analytical position excludes condemnation or moralising. I do not give advice on how to behave correctly. If such advice helped, then reading books or recommendations on the internet would be enough to bring about change.
My task is to be there for you, to accept you and, together with you, to understand the connections between conscious motives and desires, fears and hopes that are not yet conscious, so that you can find solutions that are right for you.
The analytical method involves long-term work lasting more than 12 months, with regular meetings one to three times a week. You bring current topics to the meetings, the most exciting or pressing ones. Important material includes your memories, fantasies, dreams, and even things that at first glance seem to have nothing to do with the stated topic, things that ‘suddenly came to mind.’ All of this is the language through which the psyche tries to express itself, but which we do not usually listen to in everyday life. With your participation, I clarify, refine and connect the images and ideas that arise. In this seemingly random material, or material that simply accompanies everyday events, deep meanings are revealed that turn out to be related to the main topic that brought you to psychotherapy.
