For me, building meaningful connections is at the heart of healing and growth. Sometimes, that connection is found in the therapeutic relationship—and I’m honored to be part of that journey with my clients.
Hi, I’m Olga Wouhra. I’m an existential psychotherapist working under supervision, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, going through divorce or break-up, questions about self-worth, or searching for belonging and purpose, I’m here to support you.
I’m fluent in both Russian and English, having completed my education in English, so I’m comfortable working in either language.
Existential analysis examines what it means to be human and the challenges we encounter. I help clients confront and accept the anxieties that come from life's uncertainties. We focus on the past when necessary; however, we strive to remain in the present to examine how your current choices and beliefs influence your experiences. This process encourages you to take responsibility for your life and to embrace your freedom to create meaning and purpose. It is an empowering journey that is personal, building self-awareness and authenticity in a safe, non-judgmental space. Through this existential approach, my goal is to help you cultivate a more authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling life.
I am currently involved in a volunteer project with the Existential Analysis Association, which provides three free therapy sessions to individuals in need, particularly those facing financial difficulties. Alongside this, I run my own online therapy practice, specializing in existential therapy, and aim to create a supportive space for clients from diverse backgrounds seeking personal growth.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Birmingham City University in the UK. I'm in my final 4th year of a Master's program in Existential Analysis at Salzburg University in Austria. I'm also a member of FETE (The Federation for Existential Analysis in Europe) and the BPS ( The British Psychological Society). My fascination with various therapeutic modalities is reflected in my participation in several short training courses in the UK and Russia, including therapeutic skills, an introduction to Transactional Analysis, and an exploration of Psychoanalysis.
