About me

I am a Gestalt Therapist, yoga educator, and lifelong student of human development. For more than twenty years, I have worked in the field of yoga, accompanying students and trainee teachers in their personal and professional growth. Throughout this journey, I became increasingly interested in the emotional and relational dimensions of human experience, which led me to pursue formal training in Gestalt Therapy. What drew me to this approach was its emphasis on awareness, authenticity, and the healing potential of genuine human contact.

My work is grounded in the belief that people have an innate capacity for growth when they are met with respect, acceptance, and curiosity. I offer a space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, bodily experiences, and patterns of relating in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I support individuals in developing greater awareness of themselves and the choices available to them. I am particularly interested in attachment, emotional regulation, trauma-informed perspectives, and the ways in which early life experiences continue to shape our relationships and wellbeing.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I continue to teach and train yoga practitioners, maintaining a strong interest in the connection between body, mind, and emotional health. My approach integrates Gestalt principles with embodied awareness and contemplative practices, while remaining open to dialogue with other psychological perspectives. Whether through therapy, teaching, supervision, or training, my aim is to support greater self-understanding, resilience, and authenticity. I believe that meaningful change emerges when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported in exploring their lived experience, and it is a privilege to accompany others on that journey.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
MindfulnessMindfulness is the process of maintaining a purposeful moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surrounding environment.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Gestalt Therapy and shaped by an appreciation for the connection between body, emotions, relationships, and awareness. I see therapy as a collaborative process in which clients are supported in exploring their experience with curiosity, honesty, and self-compassion. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or problems, I am interested in understanding how people have adapted to their life circumstances and how these patterns influence their present lives.

In our work together, I pay close attention to what emerges in the present moment: thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and relational dynamics. By developing greater awareness of these experiences, clients often discover new possibilities for responding to challenges, relating to others, and living in a way that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I believe that meaningful change grows from awareness, acceptance, and genuine contact with oneself.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and integrative. While Gestalt Therapy provides the foundation of my practice, I also draw on insights from attachment theory, mindfulness, and embodied approaches to wellbeing. I strive to create a safe and respectful environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as they navigate difficulties, deepen self-understanding, and reconnect with their own resources and capacity for growth.
