As an English speaking psychologist, with Filipino/ Dutch roots, I aim to individualise my treatment approach to meet your specific needs. I help people get clarity around themselves, manage anxiety and grow self esteem.
I am a clinical psychologist with a deep passion for helping people find calm, confidence, and clarity in their lives. With roots in both the Philippines and the Netherlands, and a background shaped by international education, I bring a culturally aware and inclusive approach to therapy.
I understand how challenging it can be to navigate stress, anxiety, or uncertainty, especially when you're balancing multiple roles, identities, or environments. Clients often come to me when they feel overwhelmed by self-doubt, social interactions, work pressure, or the constant need to “keep it all together.” My role is to help you explore these patterns, understand where they come from, and learn how to respond differently. This way you can stop feeling stuck frozen or overwhelmed and start navigating your life in the way you envisioned it.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences (with concentrations in psychology, biomedical sciences, and cognitive science). I am also a member of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP).
Whether you’re dealing with persistent overthinking, burnout, low self-esteem, or a difficult transition, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Together, we’ll work toward real, sustainable change.
My core specialties are: Social anxiety – fear of judgment, overanalyzing social interactions, difficulty relaxing around others Work-related anxiety & burnout – constant pressure to prove yourself, fear of failure or being “found out,” struggling to unplug Overthinking & chronic worry – looping thoughts about the past or future, catastrophizing, racing mind Low self-esteem – feeling “not good enough,” self-doubt, fear of being a burden Emotional overwhelm – difficulty regulating mood, irritability, or frequent emotional ups and downs
My subspecialties are: Cultural adjustment Academic stress Addictive behaviours Life transitions Loneliness and disconnection
I individualise each treatment depending on the specific needs of each client, as I believe it to be extremely important in achieving the best positive outcome.
Though I am trained at CBT, I actively participate in trainings and seminars and have become well-versed in different and new evidence based approaches, such as; Schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion focused therapy.
I truly believe there is no 'one size fits all' to therapy, so I apply strategies and techniques from these different approaches depending on what you might need and the issues you are specifically facing.
