About me

I'm an Italian certificated clinic psychologist in OPP (portugues order for psychologists) with an international background shaped by experiences in Italy, Brazil, and Portugal. My path blends clinical psychology (CBT and Gestalt) with creative, community-based approaches like Theater of the Oppressed, artistic tools, that create my personal perspective on life. I belive, as Carol Hanisch said, that "The personal is political" for this reason I’m especially attuned to the emotional challenges of migration, identity, and cultural integration in a sistemyc approach. People often describe me as warm, open-minded, and deeply present — someone who creates safe spaces but isn’t afraid to challenge you when growth calls for it. I work with care, creativity, and political awareness, valuing diversity and authenticity in every therapeutic relationship.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Existential analysisRecommended for those who are searching for deeper meaning in life or are struggling with big questions about existence, freedom, and purpose.
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.
I work especially well with expats and people navigating cross-cultural transitions — including those dealing with identity shifts, challenges of integration, and the emotional complexity of building a life in a new system. I offer a dedicated space to explore relationship themes — from traditional dynamics to alternative ways of being in relationships, including non-monogamy, queerness, and relational identity. These paths are never one-size-fits-all, and I support you in discovering what’s authentic for you. I also work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma, offering grounding, regulation tools, and a compassionate container where difficult emotions can be met and processed. My approach is integrative and person-centered, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and Art Therapy techniques, tailored to each person’s unique personality, needs, and pace. In therapy with me, you'll find a space of active listening, safety, and non-judgment — open to diversity, queer-affirming, and attuned to the political dimensions of identity. I’m warm and welcoming, but also not afraid to be gently provocative when it’s helpful for your growth. Creativity, empathy, and respect guide my work, and I’m here to support you with presence, curiosity, and care. "Happiness is grounded in the acceptance of change, in the ability to flow with the process of life. The more conscious we are of ourselves and our feelings, the more we are able to adapt and grow." — Alexander Lowen

Experience

In addition to private clinical practice, I’ve worked across Italy, Brazil, and Portugal in therapeutic, educational, and community-based contexts. My experience includes therapeutic support in mental health settings, such as Casa das Palmeiras in Rio de Janeiro, where I applied art-based methods with individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. In Lisbon, I collaborated with refugee-focused projects like ComParte and EMBRACE, facilitating co-design workshops and body-based listening practices. My work integrates psychological care with social engagement, creativity, and intercultural sensitivity.
