About me

I am a clinical psychologist from Lisbon, Portugal. However, I spent most of my life living in Angola, which I consider my home country. I have always had an interest in understanding and trying to help people. So, psychology was always my number one career choice. After graduating and specializing in CBT, my interest in the field started shifting and I decided to learn more about mindfulness, psychoanalysis, psychological intervention with a feminist approach and intervention with LGBTQIAP+ patients/clients. I am eager to continue learning and always develop my skills to provide to best service possible.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.

I am a trained clinical psychologist based in Lisbon. I have a MSc degree in CBT and am a full member of the Portuguese Board OF Psychologists. I have experience working with young adults and adults who are going through difficult times, wether it is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or even self-discovery journeys. I am here to provide a safe space where you can open up about anything you want and need. For me, psychology has to exist in a societal context, therefore I always take into consideration gender, class and ethnicity as these are crucial in our identities.
