About me

Registered Member of the Portuguese Order of Psychologists License Number: 27145 Member of the Health Regulatory Authority Registration Number: E173632 Emanuelle Fehr is a psychologist committed to ethical and human-centered care. She holds a degree from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Coimbra. Throughout her clinical career, Emanuelle has worked with dedication in supporting individuals dealing with issues such as anxiety, social phobia, eating disorders, and interpersonal difficulties. She also provides sensitive and specialized care to neurodivergent individuals, immigrant women, and LGBTQIA+ people. Her practice emphasizes the impact of environment, support networks, and attachment styles on emotional development and relational dynamics. A specialist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emanuelle grounds her clinical work in evidence-based interventions, helping clients identify and restructure thought patterns that influence their behaviors and emotional states. She also integrates Schema Therapy as a complementary approach, expanding the scope of intervention when working with deeper and more persistent emotional patterns—particularly relevant in contexts of trauma and early adverse experiences. Her work is guided by a culturally sensitive approach, especially regarding experiences related to immigration and neurodivergence. Committed to ongoing professional development and to the promotion of accessible and inclusive mental health care, Emanuelle aims to provide a therapeutic space built on acceptance, respect, confidentiality, and the appreciation of human diversity. Her primary goal is to support each individual's emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

I am a clinical psychologist specialized in providing emotional support , creating safe and confidential spaces for clients. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy to help individuals manage anxiety, depression, and social phobia by promoting adaptive thinking, problem-solving, and emotional expression. Passionate about supporting neurodiverse people, especially those with autism, I am committed to fostering understanding and empowerment. I usually begin the therapeutic process with an initial assessment to better understand the person's symptoms and the goals they hope to achieve through therapy. From there, we work together to set small, manageable goals in a gentle and ongoing way. I truly value feedback throughout the process, as it helps us adjust the focus of our sessions and the frequency of our meetings — whether weekly or more spaced out — always honoring each person’s individual pace and needs.
