I support people in reconnecting with themselves and others through breathwork, craniosacral, and somatic therapy—gently guiding awareness back to the body, presence, and inner safety.
I am a qualified Breathwork Facilitator, have a background in Clinical Psychology (BSc + MSc), an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited Coach and a Cranio-Sacral therapist. In addition I used to be a professional athlete, and have worked for many years in and for companies that work in the field of wellbeing and personal development.
The focus of these sessions is on fully reconnecting to the self again and exploring the full range of the nervous system in a gentle way.
Somatic therapy can help with both sides of the spectrum; ranging from stress and overwhelm to feelings of numbness or low energy.
We can work with anxiety and an ongoing fight/flight response, feelings of low-confidence, relational issues or an overall sense of numbness. These sessions are also very suitable for those interested in trauma, inner child and part work.
The process can take many shapes and forms, together we'll find a way. No matter the feeling; anger, sadness, guilt, shame, curiosity; everything is welcome.
We'll always start the session with a check in, to make sure we are working on the things that are important to you.
From there we’ll be using using different breathing techniques and other somatic modalities (i.e movement, voice, bodywork etc.) to access, feel and process.
Afterwards we'll integrate the learning through a integrative conversation.
Sessions are 90 minutes, or a little longer depending on the required integration time.
Just like with talking therapy this is a process that requires time and commitment, with ongoing reviews.
