I am a trained counsellor who specialises in anxiety conditions. I also work on identity and belonging issues. I am registered to practice with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I am also a trained Hypnotherapist which utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques (Hypno-CBT) and I work on issues such as low self esteem, low levels of confidence, high levels of stress, phobias, panic attacks and other anxiety conditions. I bring a range of tools into my practice that can allow clients to feel self-empowered, get to know why they may be feeling or experiencing what they may be and then be able to use practical tools that can empower them towards mental health and emotional healing.
I am passionate about my work, and as someone who has previously had difficult periods with anxiety, I fully understand the hourly, daily and weekly impacts that anxiety has on self-confidence and self-esteem. I therefore know about the wide ranging impacts that it can have on people's lives, their partners and their families.
I also work with clients who want to stop smoking and achieve weight loss.
I therefore bring with me a range of tools and mechanisms that can help people to build better lives for themselves mentally, emotionally and physically.
