My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and relational. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard.
I work integratively, with a firm grounding in psychodynamic therapy, which explores how early relationships and unconscious patterns influence our present experiences. This helps us make sense of emotional responses, behaviours, and relational difficulties that may feel confusing or stuck.
Alongside psychodynamic thinking, I draw on humanistic and body-based methods, constantly adapting to meet your needs. My work is informed by a deep respect for your cultural background, lived experiences, and personal history.
Clients often describe me as approachable, down-to-earth, and someone with a good sense of humour. While therapy can involve deep emotional work, moments of lightness and laughter are just as important. A sense of humour can go a long way in helping us feel more human, connected, and able to face life’s challenges.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, cultural identity, or significant life transitions, I aim to support you in reconnecting with your sense of self, safety, and strength. Working to integrate and weave other interventions, tools and skills to support and tailor for each client’s needs
