I am a clinical psychologist with a focus on psychodynamic psychotherapy, working with adults to explore the unconscious patterns and internal conflicts that shape their emotions, thoughts, and relationships.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Boğaziçi University and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2024. During my training, I gained hands-on experience at the university’s psychological counseling center, where I provided therapy to individuals from diverse backgrounds under intensive supervision, both in English and Turkish.
Since 2022, I have been offering psychotherapy in private practice, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. I initially established my practice in Istanbul. In 2025, I relocated to Maastricht, where I continue my work with adults through online sessions.
My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, identity questions, existential concerns, and relationship challenges. Having lived and practiced in different cultural settings, I have also developed a special interest in the emotional experiences tied to migration, identity, and belonging.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative journey where the therapist walks alongside the individual, supporting them as they explore, understand, and develop themselves. People often seek therapy for a variety of reasons, including depression, anxiety, anger, relationship challenges, difficulty coping with stress, or adjusting to life changes. Sometimes, the motivation is simply a deep desire for self-exploration and a wish to enhance overall well-being. Through psychotherapy, we create a space to examine internal conflicts, relational patterns, and life experiences — with the aim of fostering greater understanding, growth, and transformation.
I currently work with adults, drawing from a psychodynamic orientation that emphasizes the importance of early experiences, unconscious processes, and the therapeutic relationship in facilitating lasting change.
