About me

When we feel unwell physically, we don’t hesitate to see a doctor. So why do we hesitate when it comes to our mental health? Struggling emotionally is not a weakness, and it’s certainly not your fault. You deserve support, and I’m here to help.

I know how hard it can be to reach out, because I’ve been there. I’ve faced my own battles with depression, anxiety, and difficult relationships. The turning point for me was learning to open up. Talking to someone, shifting my perspective, and seeking professional help changed my life.

Now, my goal is to be that person for you, the support I once needed. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Let’s start with a simple conversation. Send me a message now for a free, no-obligation introductory session. Just a friendly chat to see how I can help.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
In my practice, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with Psychodynamic Therapy. CBT focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. For instance, if you have a strong fear of spiders, you might believe they intend to harm you (a thought), and this may be accompanied by physical symptoms such as a racing heart or sweating. In therapy, we work together to challenge these thoughts and develop healthier ways of responding in the future.

At the same time, I view our behaviours as patterns shaped by past experiences, often originating in childhood. Psychodynamic therapy helps us explore where these patterns may come from, offering deeper insight into your thoughts, feelings, and reactions. For example, if your mother had a strong fear of spiders, you may have unconsciously learned to fear them as well. By understanding these roots, you can gain a greater sense of self-awareness and begin to shift long-standing patterns.
