About me

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and empowering environment where thoughts, memories and feelings can be shared freely. The emphasis is on growth and problem resolution in a safe and supportive environment.

I work with the unconscious mind, so pay a lot of attention to such things as gut feelings, intuitions, dreams and moments of insight we all get. I am interested in my clients' childhoods and relationships with their parental families, as well as any generational patterns or traumas they share with them.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
Trauma informed careRecommended for those who have experienced trauma and need a safe, supportive space to heal at their own pace.

In my practice, I offer a space that goes beyond simply managing symptoms, inviting you instead to explore the deeper, often unconscious patterns that shape your life. As a psychodynamic therapist, I believe that our past experiences—particularly our earliest relationships—create 'blueprints' for how we navigate the world today. Together, we will look beneath the surface of your immediate concerns to understand the recurring dynamics in your relationships, your self-image, and your emotional world.

This process isn't just about insight; it’s about fostering a profound self-awareness that allows for genuine, lasting change and a more authentic way of being. Whether you are feeling stuck, grappling with a sense of emptiness, or facing complex relationship cycles, we will work at a pace that honors your unique history, making sense of the 'why' behind your 'how.'
