Background
My professional journey began at the Counseling Center of the Education Organization, where I gained my first hands-on clinical experience. I then continued my work at Ferdowsi University Counseling Center and other specialized clinics. Eventually, I founded my private practice, Janan Clinic, where I currently provide psychotherapy and psychological counseling services.
I hold a Master's degree in Psychology, and I am currently a Ph.D. student in Psychology, in the final stages of my doctoral studies and research. I have been a licensed psychologist in Iran since 2014, officially recognized by the Iranian Psychological Association.
My M.A. thesis focused on the effects of cognitive therapy based on Michael Frey’s model on depression, anxiety, and blood pressure.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have worked extensively with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and emotional distress. My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. I help clients enhance self-awareness, regulate emotions, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and relating.
At Janan Clinic, I provide both individual and couples therapy, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. I have also conducted workshops on stress management and emotional regulation to promote psychological well-being in the community.
My work is guided by empathy, authenticity, and professional integrity. I strive to create a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, experiences, and personal goals.
As I continue my professional work in psychology, I am deeply passionate about integrating scientific insight with compassionate care. My goal is to provide culturally sensitive, evidence-based psychological support and empower individuals to live more balanced and fulfilling lives.
