Trilingual (Arabic/English/French) licensed psychotherapist helping people fulfill a happier life. Using proven analytical psychology methods, I have cared for thousands of persons in 15+ years of practice.
I am a trained and licensed analytic psychotherapist from Beirut, Lebanon. As a MiddleEastern individual, i am aware of all the psychological issues that people in our society suffer from. This awareness at the core of my practice, and what allows me to better understand and help solve the problems of my clients in different care settings. I focused my studies basically on the anxiety disorders like panic attacks and general anxiety disorder. And I had the chance through my carrier in my private practice and the military hospital (collaborating with psychiatrists) to work with a wide range of patients with different mental health issues mostly neurotic and specifically with anxiety disorders, PTSD and depression.
According to the psychodynamic approach, childhood experiences are crucial elements to form the personality and will continue to affect behavior and emotions into adulthood. Therefore, I believe that all current psychological symptoms and problems are the result of past traumas. Hence, I use psycho-analytic methods to care for my clients. These methods allow people to come in contact with their unconscious behaviors which opens the doors to better understand one’s self, and consequently take control of their lives. My approach focuses on the unconscious mental forces that individuals are unaware of like hidden fears and desires deeply present within the mind yet influence the personality and behavior. But most of all, the benevolent neutrality is at the core of my approach that implies respect, confidentiality and socially appropriate behavior with my clients.
