We experience the world from within. I offer a warm, supportive space to explore and care for your inner world, so you can move through life with greater freedom, awareness, and authenticity.
Sometimes we find ourselves feeling lost, alone, or with the sense that something no longer fits. At other times, it is anxiety, sadness, anger, or recurring situations that leave us wondering why we keep ending up in the same place. We do not always have the answers, but asking for help can be the first step toward understanding what is happening and finding new ways to navigate the challenges that are causing distress.
In therapy, I strive to create a warm, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely and feel genuinely supported. The focus is on you and whatever you need to bring into the session. My intention is to accompany you on a journey of self-discovery that helps you better understand your inner world, connect with your emotions, and explore what they may be trying to tell you. Emotions can often feel uncomfortable or confusing, yet they usually carry valuable information about our needs, our boundaries, and what truly matters to us.
I believe that our inner world is the place from which we relate to the world around us. In a time shaped by constant demands, speed, and overstimulation, getting to know yourself becomes a way of finding direction. Knowing who you are, what you need, what you long for, and what you are -and are not- willing to carry can provide a deeper sense of stability and freedom. I like to think of our inner world as a garden. Each of us is the only gardener of that space. In therapy, I will not tell you what to plant; instead, I will help you get to know your own garden: noticing what has flourished, what needs care, what no longer has a place, and what conditions help it grow or, on the contrary, cause it to wither. This understanding not only strengthens your relationship with yourself but also allows you to move through the world with greater confidence, authenticity, and integration.
As a psychologist, I value building a relationship that feels warm, genuine, and safe, where you can speak openly without fear of being judged. I also believe that humour has an important place in therapy. Sometimes, being able to laugh at ourselves ,or at a situation that has kept us feeling stuck, can help us gain perspective, ease emotional tension, and discover new ways of understanding our experience.
If you are going through a difficult time, noticing recurring patterns in your life, or simply wish to understand yourself more deeply, I would be glad to accompany you on that journey.
My work is grounded in a psychoanalytic approach because I believe we all carry a personal history that continues to unfold every day. Many of the ways we feel, think, and relate to others have been shaped by experiences that continue to influence us outside of our conscious awareness. Exploring this inner landscape helps us understand why certain patterns keep repeating and why ways of responding to the world that may once have served us can eventually become sources of distress. As these patterns become conscious, we gain greater freedom. We stop living entirely on autopilot, reacting or repeating ways of being that we may never have questioned, and become more able to choose, with greater awareness, how we want to continue shaping our lives.
I am currently training as a psychoanalyst while completing a Master's Degree in Art Therapy jointly offered by the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Complutense University of Madrid. I am particularly interested in the creative process as another way of exploring and expressing experiences that are sometimes difficult to put into words. If art or creative expression resonates with you, it can also become part of our therapeutic work together.
As part of my commitment to ethical and rigorous clinical practice, I receive weekly clinical supervision from a senior psychoanalyst and university lecturer with more than 30 years of clinical experience.
