How did I get here?- Whilst growing up in West Africa, I started observing people out of curiosity; in the process, it became my hobby. I am fortunate that my mother exposed me to spirituality and diversity around the same time. It serves as an anchor in life during challenging times. Previously, I had an extensive background in customer service, surveillance, health, and safety, which are transferable skills to counselling and psychotherapy. In addition, I have travelled extensively and still do. Having lived in distinct cultures has enhanced my understanding of human behaviour.
The application of my approach takes place in the here and now. I assess for chaos, rigidity or both, which may be a reason for impairment. I explore how early attachment (experiences), genetic factors or brain underdevelopment may have influenced the early years of life (to name it and tame it) for awareness and acceptance. To honour the different ways the two modes of the brain process information, linking them together to achieve bilateral integration for energy and vitality in the body for well-being.
